What people are saying about ‘A Tiger Journey’
“I love the book. It's not just about the photographs (which are obviously stunning - well done!) but the whole story you're telling around them.
It's a great read, very personal. I also like the bond you've created with some of the tigers and how you're expecting to see them again.
What strikes me is how close you seemed to have approached them.”
Thomas C, Paris, France.
“There are some books you want to own, some books you need to share and some books that give you
a pleasant tingle down your spine every time you turn the pages. This book ticks all of the boxes.
A superb story that manages to be passionate as well as pragmatic. Excellent photographs. This isn’t just a beautiful book to keep and show
to your friends and family. It’s a book to treasure”.
Martyn S, Nottingham, UK
“On Easter Day, the family was at home and the Tiger Journey book was on the table. The younger ones saw it and were amazed, the younger ones analysed the pictures and said that it was unprecedented, that the strength and vulnerability of the tigers were also revealed.
The older ones like me said inwardly that the photographer's love for them explained the quality of the images.
In short, it was a happy Easter with the Tigers as impromptu guests”'.
Joanne A-T, Avignon, France
“This very enjoyable and informative book combines Bernie's fascination with tigers and his enthusiasm for photography. The result is a stunning collection of over 100 photographs with accompanying narrative.
I thoroughly recommend it. Hopefully there are more in the pipeline”
Paddy S, Aveley, Essex, UK
“This is a brilliant read and the photos are stunning! Bernie’s passion for these beautiful cats is infectious. His easy style and the details of his photography ups and downs makes the reader feel… “I could have a go too!”.
Andy S, Todmorden, West Yorkshire, UK
“A very engaging read combined with stunning photographs. The intertwined stories of Hope and the broader worldwide Tiger conservation efforts, combined with the author’s own journey of personal development makes it easy to understand why he became so obsessed with Tigers!
Nigel W, Derbyshire, UK”
Nicely written, informative and with beautiful photographs, Bernie has given us a great insight into the lives of these magnificent creatures - made all the more real for us having seen Tigers at Ranthambore in 2020. On looking through this superb book and reading about Bernie’s journey, I’m sure all will agree that Tigers need as much support as they can get. Buy this book, not least for the story and photos (which are indeed superb) but also to contribute to the conservation of these wonderful animals. In doing so, we are also helping to conserve all wildlife, so important in our world of declining biodiversity
- any effort in this respect has to be a good thing.
